4-day national Training of Trainers (TOT) to strengthen Cold Chain Equipment (CCE)
This week, We For Health, in collaboration with Nexleaf Analytics and RBC, carried out a 4-day national Training of Trainers (TOT) to strengthen Cold Chain Equipment (CCE) maintenance across Rwanda.
The training brought together 80 participants — biomedical engineers and EPI supervisors from hospitals and medicalized health centers in all 30 districts. Over four intensive days, participants engaged in both theory and hands-on sessions covering:
✔️ Vaccine storage & handling
✔️ Preventive maintenance of CCE
✔️ Troubleshooting and repair
✔️ RTMD use, temperature monitoring & reporting
✔️ Facilitation skills for upcoming cascade trainingsThis TOT marks a key milestone in the R3 scale-up phase, ensuring that every district is equipped with skilled trainers who will soon train vaccinators in their catchment areas — ultimately improving vaccine reliability and strengthening Rwanda’s immunization system.
Together, we continue building resilient systems that keep every vaccine safe, from storage to delivery. 💙
