A training-filled week at We For Health!
This week, We For Health organized hands-on, simulation-based trainings on Essential Newborn Care (ENC), Helping Babies Breathe (HBB), and Helping Mothers Survive (HMS) for newly deployed midwives and nurses in Nyarugenge and Muhima District Hospitals.
Over several days, participants strengthened their skills in:
✔️ Newborn resuscitation
✔️ Managing obstetric emergencies
✔️ Routine essential newborn care
✔️ EMOTIVE bundles and postpartum hemorrhage management
✔️ Teamwork and rapid response during maternal and neonatal emergenciesThrough practical demonstrations, anatomic models, and skill-based coaching, providers enhanced their readiness to save lives during labor, delivery, and the critical first minutes after birth.
