During the visit, We For Health introduced its Child and Adolescent WellCare Programme, a new initiative that promotes the health and well-being of children and adolescents through a life-course approach. The visit provided an opportunity to present the programme to district leaders, hospital management teams, health centre staff, and other implementing partners, creating awareness of its objectives and laying the foundation for strong local collaboration as implementation begins.

Throughout the visit, participants visited key community and health service delivery points, including the Huye District administrative offices, the hospital, health centres, health posts, the youth centre, and community health workers. These visits provided an opportunity to engage directly with district authorities, healthcare providers, community actors, and local stakeholders, while exchanging experiences on strengthening integrated maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health services, community health, disability inclusion, mental health, nutrition, and early childhood development.

We For Health is proud to be part of this collaborative effort and looks forward to working closely with local stakeholders and partners to successfully implement the Child and Adolescent WellCare Programme and improve health outcomes for children and adolescents across Rwanda.
