We For Health Contributes to National Stakeholder Engagement Workshop on the Child and Adolescent WellCare Programme
On 30 July 2026, We For Health joined the Rwanda Biomedical Centre (RBC), UNICEF, the University of Rwanda, Uyisenga Ni Imanzi (UNM), government institutions, development partners, and civil society organizations for the Stakeholders Engagement Workshop on the Operationalization of Integrated Scheduled Child and Adolescent WellCare Visits through a Life-Course Approach in Rwanda.
The workshop marked an important milestone in preparing for the pilot implementation of the Life-Course Project in Gasabo and Huye districts. It brought together national and district stakeholders to review the project’s progress, strengthen coordination, gather feedback, and build a shared understanding of the implementation approach.
As one of the implementing partners, We For Health presented the findings of the project’s desk review and participated in discussions on governance, service delivery, and community engagement. The workshop also provided a platform for stakeholders to clarify roles, identify opportunities for collaboration, and strengthen coordination mechanisms that will support successful implementation.
By fostering collaboration across government institutions, development partners, academia, and civil society, the workshop laid the foundation for delivering integrated, preventive well-care services that accompany children and adolescents throughout every stage of their development.
We For Health is proud to contribute to this collaborative initiative and looks forward to working alongside partners to improve health outcomes for children and adolescents across Rwanda.
